The Charles & Betty Cruickshank Hosta Garden
American Hosta Society Display garden
Clemson, South Carolina
The newly accredited AHS Display Garden located at the South Carolina Botanical Garden is named for longtime dedicated volunteers, Charles and Betty Cruickshank. The Hosta Garden is located on the shores of the Heritage Pond. Many paths in the Garden are lined with beautiful stone walls and a simple yet stunning stone bridge leads into the Garden. Mulched paths throughout the Garden were designed for a close-up view of the multiplicity of hosta and other shade-loving plants. Two pools are joined by a cascade which ultimately pours into the Heritage Pond and the Garden contains over four hundred varieties of hosta.
