Welcome North Alabama Hosta Society
(August 28, 2005) - We are pleased to announce that Dan Watt has been elected as the first President of the newly formed North Alabama Hosta Society. The Dixie Board has received their approved By-Laws and we have mailed them a start up grant of $250.
Dan has long been a member of the Mid-South Hosta Society and the AHS and he took the initiative to start the new society.
Operating in the Huntsville, AL area and meeting at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens, the society sent us their membership list showing 30 members.
